Now many of you maybe wondering what is the worst that could happen by shutting down your computer the wrong way.

Failure to correctly shutdown your can run the risk of possibly damaging your hard drive and even make bad sectors.

Keep in mind your hard drive is where all your important information is stored. That includes all your pictures, music, videos, etc.

In my opinion your hard drive is the most important part of your computer especially since it contains all your important data.

The reason why I say that is because if most of your computer is damaged minus the hard drive then the other components of your computer can easily be replaced.

Computer Tips: Part 3

The improper way of shutting down your computer includes disconnecting the power cord from the wall, and pressing and holding the power button for at least 6 seconds. However you can turn off the computer by holding the power button only if your computer becomes unresponsive.

It’s understandable that sometimes your computer will shutdown by itself unexpectedly as long as it doesn’t occur all the time. Be mindful that over time issues may arise due to improperly shutting down your computer.
