Printer – Printing problems let’s talk about them!

Today I want to go over several reasons why your computer may not be printing. The level of difficulty for diagnosing the problem ranges from easy to medium overall the process is relatively simple.

Computer Repair Tip Number One: 

Now that you’ve been dying to try out that brand new printer of yours. Take everything out of the box and set the cords aside.  Always make sure with any new device that you install the drivers that came with the printer. Drivers are required for your computer to properly communicate with the printer. Without the drivers you printer will not function correctly unless those drivers are installed.

Computer Repair Tip Number Two: 

Next computer repair tip is are all of your connections connected properly? If your connecting by USB make sure they are firmly inserted.  Sometimes the USB cord may not be all the way. Below is a picture of a USB cable.

Computer Repair Tip Number Three: 

Connect & configure the device to run correctly on your network. All you would have to do is install the drivers just as described in computer repair tip number one.

Computer Repair Tip Number Four: 

One simple repair is to check and see if the unit is actually powered on. Sometimes the switch for the power cord maybe turned off. Or even the switch for the power maybe turned off.

Final thoughts

Worst case scenario your device needs to be replaced. One option is to have it fixed or buy a brand new one.
