HEY DOES YOUR COMPUTER SCREEN LOOK LIKE THIS? Don’t fret because the PC Doctor is here to help you!

Have you ever come home one day and turned on your computer as normal. Then a few minutes go by and you stop and wonder why you don’t see any of the start-up messages & logos.

You see that your computer is powered on and you hear sound coming from your speakers. Now before you panic and wonder what is going on. Remember to stay calm and do not worry because all of your information is still safe.

Now what I want to talk about today is determining what the problem could be and go over my computer tips.

This is the first part in determining the problem by troubleshooting and documenting everything you see and hear because that’ll be very helpful when isolating the issue. With these computer tips you will gain knowledge encase this problem happens again.

If it does happen again you will know how to fix it. I hope that you all find these computer tips to be helpful and please check out my other posts for my other computer repair services.

So without further a due below is a couple causes of what  causes your monitor not to display anything.

Here are a couple of causes why you may not see a display on your monitor.

1. (Video cable isn’t all the way connected) – Make sure you check all connections to ensure they are all properly connected.   

2. (Does your monitor have power running through it) – Sometimes the power may of been turned off and make sure to turn it back on by pressing the power button.

3. (Video card or On-board Video display has died) – Not a common issue but it can happen. Sometimes hardware failure can occur requiring these parts to be replaced.
