Through the presence and help of a USB cable, you can plug in your backup device in your computer with ease. Once you plug in either a USB cable or USB connection and the said device, a dialog box will appear. And when there are options appear, you must choose the “device as the backup”. Now keep in mind there are several ways to backup your files. You can copy files directly to the device. You can also use third party software to manage the process. Depending on how much data you plan to copy the time till completion varies.

One of the newest operating system today is Windows 8. The primary problem with this operating is that Microsoft designed it with too many interfaces in mind. The layout of this OS resembles a tablet computer. It also has a desktop mode that is highly similar to previous versions of Windows. In addition, many of the controls to change settings, and launch program are tucked away. This gives Windows 8 a clean look, but makes it hard for novice internet users.

This operating system is compatible with all existing internet browsers. This can work with Mozilla Firefox, Opera, and Google Chrome, and more. However, the speed and performance of these web browsers will depend on their compatibility to the OS. Eventually support will end for each and every operating system. Anything below Windows Vista has dropped support.

Although Windows 8 is said to boast new features, some users find other problems that is inconvenient. The current features do not even resemble the smooth transition from previous versions of Windows. The new OS doesn’t have the typical start menu. The OS would be good for touch screen laptops although the benefit would be minimal.

Internet Explorer is the most well known web browser. The latest IE web browser is fast and full of new features. The IE has features that are the same with Firefox, but the only difference is that it is not open source, making it lacking off plenty add-ons.

This is the only web browser that offers telephone support. However, this cannot be used on Mac as this only supports PCs.
