That is the Question!!!!!!

PC Tips – The Situation!

 PC Tips: Part 1

For one of my computer tips I want to talk about which way is the safest way to remove your flash drive. Now there are some people who simply remove there flash drive as soon as they are finished using it. Others would follow the proper steps and select Safely Remove. The third way is to go into computer and select eject.

PC Tips: Part 2

Personally I would always go to Safely Remove unless I am in a hurry or if my computer is taking longer than usual to eject it. However we all want to know what is the best way to ensure our data’s safety without causing any damage. So today I want to go over the pro’s and con’s of what can happen to your important information and what you can do to make sure it doesn’t happen. Worst Case Scenario!

PC Tips: Part 3

The worst thing that can happen is losing all your data on the flash drive but surprisingly flash drives are very reliable and durable. The only disadvantage of having one is losing it due to its small size.

For example if you are copying files from your computer to your flash drive and you pull out your flash drive or there is a power outage.

PC Tips: Part 4

More than likely there is a possibly that file could be corrupted. With that said always be mindful of what your doing, and pay attention to  what is going on with your computer. As a side note and as an additional computer tip make sure you always backup your data whenever it is possible to avoid any data loss. The worst thing that can happen is completely losing everything you’ve worked for.

Resolution!

Personally I believe all three ways are fine as long as there isn’t any activity going on the the device like (copying & moving data). Computer tip: the way you can tell if there is activity going on is if you see lights flashing coming from your flash drive.

Once you do not see any flashing lights then you’ll know for sure when the job has been completed. Overall you should be fine and just be aware of whats going on with your computer.

As a final note always make backups of your data. Please check out my other posts for more computer tips, computer repair & computer service information. Don’t forget to sign up and comment.
